Well, the unbootable issue would definitely be fixed, because the all the traces of windows c e are gone, including the bootloader. Wasn't that thing able to boot anything with the name pdiboot.exe as well? Imagine putting the wrong file with that name in the unit, it wouldn't boot at all.
