Putting him in godbeast form would unfortunately destroy the currently existing shreds of the metagame. Way, way, way too strong. There's a very good reason that it's a three-on-one battle.
The way I managed to have those three manamon on the field is simple. I had Irroadium confused, had used Battlecry on him so his defense was lower, had given Deciced a power potion, and got a bit lucky. Thundron and Fowliture had been killed off, as had Turoison, but in the rounds it took him to do that - and to do some modest damage on the other members of the party, as Deciced was nearly dead when it landed the killing blow - I was able to chew his health down to ridiculously low numbers. So at the very end, he killed Thundron, I switched in Paladine, then Deciced got off a critical hit Frigid Touch and offed the dragon.
And yeah. Honestly, the less I see god-beast Irroadium, the happier I am. It is overpowered to the point of ridiculous. I'd rather see some other ma namon get some love, in the form of some new abilities, better moves, improved stats or, in a few notable cases, all three.
Got a few ideas for new abilities:
Venomous: Contact moves which hit this manamon have a 30% chance to poison the user.

Reactionary: When struck with a critical hit, this manamon's attack, defense, special attack, special defense and speed all rise by 1 stage.
Possessed by: Sullorb, Titomaton, Wizzell
Magma Skin: This manamon is immune to flame attacks, and if struck by a flame type move, this manamon's attack and special attack both rise by 1 stage each.
Possessed by: Sluggugg, Magmizire, Blazond
Specialist: This manamon's same-type attacks do double damage instead of 1.5x damage
Possessed by: Domestress, Fyrate, Bayowoof, Placebot
Expertise: This manamon may only learn three moves instead of five, but each move has its power points doubled

Explosive Motor: The manamon is immune to electric and steel type attacks, and will gain a 1-stage boost to attack, special attack and speed if struck by one of them; the user takes 20% extra damage from flame and water attacks

Unbreakable: At full health, this manamon will neve
r die in a single hit; this ability deactivates as soon as the manamon takes damage
