Re: Game Developers - where to advertise your games?

This seems abit insular. Audio Games are (or should be) a subset of the gaming industry as a whole, so it makes sense to start going through more indie/mainstream channels. Like writing articles or post-mortems on Gamasutra, devlogs on tigsource, indiedb, or itch.io, etc. Attending conferences like IGF, GDC, and PAX. Getting articles up on kotaku, pcgamer, destructoid, or rockpapershotgun. I know two writers from rockpapershotgun have written articles about audio games, the last one not to long ago involving roguelikes.

I've also actually seen a number of posts here about mainstream games like the latest telltale games, GTA V, and others that people pick up from these channels or via word of mouth from the sighted people they interact with. Its abit of a gamble, but could help raise the genres visibility and attract people from other market segments as well.
