ok her is how to access the arcade ladder. You must go into multi verse mode, which is inside the single player menu.
While in multi verse mode
watch the cut scene, then hit x. try to go right, if you cant go right, then hit x again. Keep trying to go right, if you still cant, hit x until you can. When you can finally go right, hit x, your should here a sound like that space is locked, if you here this sound, that means you are in tutorial mode, which is where you need to be. There are 3 tutorials you must complete to open up the universe. Go left, and hit x until you don’t here a lock sound. Now you should be in the character select screen. Pick your character, and hit x, it will take you into your first fight. Once you win that fight, hit x, and it will take you to the next. Once you have defeated all fighters in that tutorial, you will hear a sound like your score is being caculated. You will hit x. now on this screen you are getting rewards and gear. So now what you do is, try to go right, if you cant, then hit x, until it lets you go right. When it lets you go right, this means you are back at the tutorial screen. So now its time to complete the next tutorial. Find the tutorial that is not locked and hit x, it will take you back to the character select screen. Fight the next set of fighters, and do the same process until all 3 tutorials are completed. When you are done with the tutorials, your controller will rumble, and you will be put into the multi universe screen, go left and right and you will hear the change in the sound.
Here are the list of universes you can now access. This list is going from left to right. Pressingg right takes you to the next universe, and press x on the one you want.
You start on Omega
Cape crusader
The fallen
Ready to fight
Even odd
Battle simulater, this is the universe to access arcade mode, and your traditional fighting game modes
Battle simulater menus This list is also going left to right
You start on Novice battle simulater, also known as arcade mode. You will fight 4challengers, then will have access to that character’s ending
Advanced simulater
Master simulater
Surviver
Endless
Once you hit x on one of the battle simulaters, you will be taken to
character select
After you select your character, you will be on pick difficulty, go right to change difficulty.
After you defeat all challengers, you will see a cut scene for the ending. Congradulations. Now after the cut scene, you will be shown the game credits, press x a couple times to skip. Now you will be on your reward screen, keep hitting x until you are able to move right again. When you are able to move right again, that means it took you back to the battle simulation screen. Press circle if you want to go back to the list of multi universes
