Re: Accessible Antivirus?

What I had to do to remove it was: tried the usual uninstall from the programs list, but it hung on 2%. Then searched for AVG removal tool and downloaded it from avg.com. It got rid of AVG Xen, but left behind AVG protection. I clicked uninstall again in programs list, and this time it asked me if I wanted to remove it from the list, yes.
Then after restart I opened task manager and found an AVG process running. Ended the process, then searched a few directories for AVG folders and deleted them. I found it in C program files, and C users username app data. Think it was in roaming and local low but check them all. Deleting it from these locations stopped the process from running. I then went to services.msc to check everything was gone from there and it was. I then deleted all references to AVG from the registry, though this probably wasn't necessary, and as I don't know what I'm doing, probably quite stupid too.
