Help the International Council of English Braille
The International Council on English Braille is currently conducting a survey of people who use Unified English Braille to discover the preferences of these users with regard to the representation of the apostrophe and single quotation mark. The survey is being conducted in response to certain tools for producing braille not showing apostrophes and inner quotation marks correctly.
The International Council on English Braille is proposing several options for the representation of these symbols, and in the survey, users are asked to vote on which one of the options they prefer.
All people who deal with Unified English Braille are encouraged to read the information surrounding the survey and to complete the survey. Further information is able from the website of the International Council on English Braille at www.iceb.org, where there is a link to the survey and an explanation of the rationale for this problem and explanations of the opti ons that the International Council on English Braille is currently considering.
