I think that's why I can be almost proud of the bluetooth performance on my android. Extremely low-latency. This would defeat the purpose, but you can always get a transmitter and plug it in your phone, but this is obviously still no excuse for Apple to not be using the low-latency profile. Then again I doubt they'll fix it. Standard Bluetooth is retrofix to them because they have the proprietary w1 chipset.
