Re: Finding album information when ripping a cd

Have you tried CDex?  It's a pretty straightforward program, though you should configure everything first.

In terms of ripping information, you can retrieve album information for a cd from a remote database and, though you might think you have to use an email address, there is a workaround which essentially consists of using "invalid[at]invalid.invalid" instead, using the actual at symbol of course.
