To everybody saying give him a break, actually no. The code is not the issue here nor his lack of programming knowledge, nor the fact it is his first game and everybody critisizes it. The problem is that when you release something from an open source project, you usually list a bunch of changes that make it worth playing, because you know, the new releases room is for gamers, not for tiny development experiments. Is it now enough to be honest about a code base and get a game hit? If so then any cloner should publish their games again and just be honest about them being clones, problem solved.
