@16: Unfortunately for TS3, the things that made it so much better than 2 are the same things that made it run like crap on anything less than a maxed out machine. I mean it's being 32-bit only didn't help, but loading the entire world at once was a large part of the reason that game was, is, and (for as long as systems will still support it) always will be a freaking resource hog. EA at least learned that much with TS4, if nothing else. Although they still apparently haven't gotten the memo re: 64-bit just yet...
