what sometimes happens is you have windows.old somewhere or copies of windows updates that weren't deleted, so it's best to go into settings, then system, and go into storage, and select free up space now. if windows update shows up with about 2 or more gb, make sure that's selected, and the recycle bin is also a place where sometimes shit isn't cleared
