I completely disagree with that. 2k was more than playable, and that was with vibrations that weren't added for the sake of accessibility. I think it's more than possible for us to be not only able to play, but stay competative in these types of games. I was able to play pro evolution soccer with literally no to little vibration cues. I think with the proper cues, it's more than possible to do.
