@1 this is a problem I've been having with audio games for a long time now. Most of the games that come out these days are pretty much the same, so once you've played one, you've played all of them. This may not be the case for some exceptions like sequence storm, a heros call etc, however those are rare diamonds in the all pavasive rough. This means that if you play one good and rewarding game for a long time and want to switch to something else, the only alternative is to play something you've already played many times before, or to stop playing games entirely. Right now, it's still very possible to try every accessible game in existence within the space of a few years, and then you're left with nothing to play. I really wish some of the bigger projects various game devs have cooking would release very close to each other like they sometimes did during 2011/2014, so you wouldn't get tied down to one particular new game.
