Honestly, they are very damn close. Of course, this depends so much on what you do. For example, nobody will probably ever code on their phones. However, for day to day usage, I can do most things very productively on my iPhone. Again, this does exclude some things, like Windows specific apps or games, but can you do several weeks without a laptop? If you are used to it, sure. As for full replacement, probably not, unless your use of technology is not so high.
