Re: Braille reading speeds?
I'll always be able to read braille, but not fast. I've been reading daily over the last couple months, not for a long time at a stretch because we only get 15 minutes in English class to do that, but I haven't noticed any improvement at all. Physical braille books are unwieldy, and braille displays are expensive. I have a note taker at school, but I don't like to use it because it serves no purpose as a stand-alone device and takes up too much space coupled with my laptop on a desk to use tethered. If I have another opportunity for equipment funding I think I'll get a more portable braille display instead.
