Re: Manamon II, how about a $5 gifting train?

Good morning folks! Or afternoon, or evening, depending on wherever it is at which you may be located. It's late morning for me.
Excellent news: overnight, I received two more extremely generous donations, as confirmed by the previous posts. This means another two selections are coming later today. To those disappointed in the fact you weren't selected, I have reason to believe this is far from over, so don't throw in the towel just yet.
As for questions about gifting keys: you can absolutely buy a key for someone else and give it to them, the only requirement being that the key is only ever used by a single person (I think that goes for any game or almost any software product for that matter). As was also pointed out, Aaron has to update the email address associated with the license in order to transfer access to the online features to the intended recipient.
As for the question about how the selections were made, as explained in post #1: first dibs are given to people who's circumstances are likely to prevent them from obtaining the game for an extended period of time. Primarily, this means people who live in countries in which PayPal does not operate, or people who are too young to have such accounts. Other factors were looked at:
What is your post count? You don't have to have 5000 posts or 1000 karma, but I did want to see active participation.
Was your request polite and respectful? this is a big one.
Posting your request repeatedly does not help you. I will not outright disqualify you for it, because frankly I understand the sentiment (when I was 15 years old and hungry for games I was doing exactly the same thing).
Lastly, I wish to again ask that you keep your requests to the other gifting topic right here on page 1 of general. That way, people looking for status reports and other information will have an easier time finding it.
