Rearmband is in the catacombs, level 4 I believe. Or else it's in Desert Dragon's Lair.
Shadow Canyon, the stadium is abandoned. Explore the castle/great hall area way to the east. Don't get hung up on something just because it's called a stadium.
Random loot would be an awful idea IMHO. Part of the game is actually knowing where stuff is and how to get it at a given point. Hell, some bits of gear and whatnot are probably placed deliberately so that manamon available at that point in the game can use them. That, or I'm giving Aaron too much credit. That's always possible. It is, after all, very possible to overthink things.
