Eternity is a little confusing until you realize that the cannons can pop you to a whole other room or just like 15 steps or so back from the side of the cannon you approached it from. The trick is to try to memorize every room you get transported to so that you can create a model of the floor in your head. Follow walls; if you feel like you missed something, go step by step. I've missed a few things by holding down the arrow keys and letting him run
