Well, um, that kind of means that he isn't your culprit, doesn't it?
Maybe try typing other names? Who else could it be? If you fought everyone, then it should be fairly evident which people it is likely to be, vs. which ones it isn't.
Cofatena, by the way, is not bad. Average-ish to good across the board. Nice Energy Pulse, plus Sawtooth, Tactical Rush and Conjure Sword. Why exactly does Conjure Sword have an accuracy penalty, BTW? Steel-magic means it is immune to a couple of things and Levitation means one of its weaknesses isn't a consideration. It really is too bad you get this thing so late in the game.
There aren't a whole lot of manamon I haven't tried, minus all the old ones, and the trade evolutions. Level-up herbs are a wonderful thing.
