The main reason that social commentary happens in books or movies, in my opinion, is the fact that the writers know that they have a large audience, and that they can express their personal or political views and have the greatest posibility of swaying others to their belief.
I would like to ask you a question, though. If those same books had pro-Trump remarks, or political or cultural views that you would agree with, would you be as frustrated about them being placed into the books?
