Also, for the second game, Byren will give you fits. So will protector and Pierre. All have chaos swipe or claw, which leaves your mons on the field with 1 hp remaining. Thinking about it, Oghma has those as well, so nope... oopsy. Basically you'll be forced to replace like, 4 mons in your party after Byren fight, assuming that you can even do it without reusing your dead party members. All his overdrives pretty much instant kill anything he hits, even if it's neutral damage. He does have some other moves, but the chances of him using those are slim to none.
