Haven't played the game for quite some time, but you've got 4 switches, each moving the stone in a given direction. So you what you have to do here is to press enter on a stone to select it, then slide on the ice until you press the switch that moves it in the direction you want. I don't quite remember the order in which the switches were placed, but try to experiment with them. At the end, you must have the letter of the word "fate" aligned next to each other. It's somewhat hard, but you'll manage it after a while.
