Totally, it's meant for you to search the other rooms. I just never do when I'm testing. When I am testing the game after a change, I'm not really playing it for fun, just to make sure things are working. I hadn't considered that things would be different in those rooms, but it makes sense now that I've found the bug.

EDIT: While i was in the code fixing this, I tweaked a few things. I made starting damage a little higher, because of the increased enemy strength with the update. I also made max damage higher, stacking on top of minimum damage as a flat bonus now. I reworked curses a little bit. Some enemies will bestow a curse that works like before, but this only happens on hard difficulty now. The Pyramid has a zone effect called Cursed Grounds that gives you a static 5% miss chance that scales up with scene number and difficulty. So its a little less harsh and a lot less spammy with the alert popups. Oh and also, there are now some really crappy starting items to help you reach the first boss, if you do a search and certain criteria are not met, you will always find a rusty blade or some tattered rags to wear. These items are always level 1 and have no enchantment. it just ensures you aren't fighting the boss with bare knuckles.
