@17 for the history, you can navigate into it by tabbing. For some reason, NVDA sees the surrounding controls separately from the actual list of history entries. Once you tab into it though you should be good to go.
As far as the reader view is concerned, Brave has the distilled view feature from Chrome which in official chrome is only on mobile. In Brave you should be able to find it in the menu. Annoyingly,the option is smack in the middle and it doesn't have a hotkey, so I forget that it's there
