Hmmm yeah its why I stopped some of the distro stuff.
ubuntu mate did install on my vm but I tried ciniman and other desktops and well things did not work even though I use speakers.
You may have better luck with a physical speaker connected by aux port to your internal sound card.
Bluetooth requires things like drivers to the bluetooth speaker, drivers for the bluetooth port, etc.
