I mean it's a machine learning threat... At least when detected by Defender, and how likely is it really that the average audio game developer would be working with code like that?
Just Recently a dev got his computer infected and when he distributed the installer for his game, it showed that a specific .dll was compromised, which alerted people to the issue despite the standard warning they are used to ignoring.
Now I'm not saying that every threat would be obvious, nor that excluding an entire folder for BGT games is necessarily the best idea, but I think that if you're reasonably confident about the developer's trustworthiness, you shouldn't worry.
