I personally have no trouble with anyone on the staff team asking to pull back for a bit, for virtually any reason.
My exams are coming up in a couple of weeks, so I'll have to study for those. I will be around, but less active then, so I'll probably just remind the list ahead of time if I can.
So when Liam first said he was going to step down, I asked him if he'd consider just waiting it out, i.e., consider coming back when this was over. I made clear that it was totally his choice and if he was done, then he was done, and that was okay. I guess he chewed on it, and thus you have what you see above.
