The main reason street fighter V and other similar games don't have a lot of combo guides is that combos are pretty much created by the players. You will find special moves and supers lists all over the place, and some will give you basic combos. But SF V doesn't have combo strings that are predone for the game except in very specific character cases, where they're listed as target combos. The finer points of games like SF V is also much more in the metagame and not in the gameplay mechanics. IF you don't enjoy a game that doesn't have a ton of mechanics and modes, then games like that probably aren't for you.
For the record, there's nothing wrong with being a casual. I don't play much online either, moreso because wifi just isn't good for that, and I don't have a way of setting up a wired connection at the moment. If you spend time essing around in singleplayer and just beating up the CPU, then MK and NRS titles are probably going to be your thing. Less so games like Samurai Shodown, street Fighter or Tekken.
