Re: Codefactory eloquence for NVDA things
@16, What do you mean nuance also? Do they do the same thing, or is it that they own eloquence, or both? I mean, I do know that nuance buys other voices, essentially remakes them so that, people are not the wiser as to who owned said voice before, and then releace said voice as their own which... shady, in my opinion, that's the same as what cloners do with audio games in a way. I mean, if nuance did the following,
Buy voices of companies, or companies, I don't know what is what they do exactly, but anyway. Make a new voice baced on say, one of the voices they bought, from scratch; then yes, that would be theres by right. However what they are doing of taking a already existing synthesiser, doing some tweeks here and there; and then sell it as thir own? Same as cloning, they are steeling another person's, or companies; work. That they bought it doesn't mean anything, as the bace product is stillthe same, just with some slight modifications so that people won't find out. If nothing else its ilegal. And yet; no one does nothing? I mean, I like the nuance voices yes, but for nuance to just engage in these business practices... As said before, shady as fuck. Not to mention the ovious, the voices never, or rarely get updated. Is it just me that has these views, or are there more of you? I mean, a company that does said crap is... Its just really, really messed up.
