first, you can use OCR to read the ATC and the menus (the menu is a bit tricky).
then, you can use TFM to control the autopilot controls (for takeoff and tuning the radios something like fsxp can be useful), and if the airport that you want to land into has ILS, you can ennable the approach hold (FSX/P3d don't care about the category of the ILS, so you're good to go).
but if you want to do visual approach, fsxp can be a good help (if you are the fan of freeware addons).
another thing to keep in mind is, FSXP and TFM can't control aircrafts like PMDG ones, as their autopilots and controls are a little bit different from the controls provided by FSX due to their very very realistic behaviors and simulations.
