Gatorade is nasty as shit, I agree. I still like powerade though, I was chugging that like there was no tomorrow a couple weeks ago when it was super hot here.
I also had no idea there was a name for the thing where things sound slightly higher or lower in pitch. I thought it was just a weird quirk that happened to me sometimes. It does tend to happen most when I'm sleep-deprived, and everything sounds slightly higher pitched and a bit sped up. It's kind of cool, actually. I like it because it's a warmer sound.
