Experience with the PCSX4 emulator, anyone?
Hey folks, the subject pretty much sums it up. Has anyone tried this in person? I understand that it's probably still in the early stages, and it clearly says it's experimental. My 15-inch macBook Pro 2017 might not even be up to running this performancewise, but I would still like to try it.
My brother does have a PS 4, so I can get the PDIx or whatever file it needs from that console. That way, I could at least give The Last of Us Part 2 a try on my own.
However, what puts me of is that when I try to download it from their site, it puts up some weird Whatsapp advertisement that prompts me to pay via SMS. I wouldn't mind paying the small fee once, they do state they live off the ads, but it mentions something about a subscription.
So, does anyone know if this program is even worth it in the first place, and if so, perhaps some other place to get it from, or if it's fine to go for it from their site? How do the subscriptions work?
