Is anyone having this weird issue with Amazon and VoiceOver on iOS?

No matter where I am in the app, VoiceOver jams up and takes about half a minute to allow me to swipe around as I normally would. I don't know what could be causing this. Is anyone else experiencing this or something similar? I've tried on both my iPhone and iPad with the same results.
