When I tried it 1.5 years ago or so I found it unusably bad, in the sense of even if I had the patience it wouldn't have mattered. It might have improved since.
If you don't know, many regular old TVs just have a screen reader built in now. Yours might. Depending on what it is that might be enough. Mine's pretty good, very much to my surprise, and I think it has at least some Roku integration. But it's not my area of expertise.
