Soku is a character from Naruto shippuden. Her original name is Hinoko, but she prefers using Soku, her anbu code name. I like it more as well, Soku sounds much cooler than Hinoko imo.
Near end of the series, she was on a mission with Shikamaru and another guy whose name I don't remember to the land of Silence. She was fighting with chakra needles, using which she was able to hit muscles and chakra points of her opponents, causing various effects ranking from paralisis to killing them.
If you didn't see naruto, the description probably doesn't make much sense, but anyway, their voices (Soku and Kimberly) are bit similar.
May be Soku was somewhat higher in pitch, but the underlying tones are quite alike.
