Sound type is called Reme or something like that, at present, and unlocks in a manner described earlier in this thread.
Monrail, Ciara and Bear are all pure type monsters that have to be earned through specific conditions. I don't remember them all. They're quite good, all of them; I'd say Monrail is the weakest and probably Ciara is the strongest, due to its moves, but they can probably all be pretty good.
I'm also pretty sure that everyone's unlocks via files are different. Saying "this file in this directory unlocks this type" is not universal to everyone.
