How much is Steam online features accessible at the moment?
We were trying to make a private lobby on SkullGirls, but the steam side looked so inaccessible. The person to whome I'm trying to connect is partially sighted and his sight is enough for handling the Steam UI.
When I create a lobby:
If I press "invite" option, the Steam overlay is shown indicating that I need to choose friends to invite. However, OCR doesn't detect friend names, so I can't click.
When he creates a lobby and invites me:
A short beep is played and a new window with his name appears. This is a steam window, and it's web-based. I can send a chat or see "xxx has invited you to play SkullGirls", but there's no join button or anything. There are a whole bunch of unlabeled clickables. I think I tried to press everything, but couldn't join his lobby.
Has anyone have any info about these?
It is possible to create a public lobby and ask the partner to quickly enter, but it's not the best solution for private games.
