Re: Age Old Question: Virtualy Routing Audio

OK! Let's put my horrible guiding skills to a test!
VAC is actually very easy to set up because you do not need to set anything up.
You just install it and it works.
When you have it installed, go to your sound settings in Windows. This is accessed by pressing the context menu key on the volume icon and selecting "open sound settings", or something of that nature.
Then you go with TAB till it says something about bluetooth. You press shift tab once and then enter.
On the list that pops up you select your game, go tab till it says "output" and select "line 1 virtual audio cable"./ Now you shall not be hearing your game. If you want to hear it again, open the include Audio Repeater MME application. In the first combo box select the line1 device, on the otherone choose your speakers. Press tab 3 times and type 70 into the text box. Press tab additonal 2 times and select "realtime", then select "start" and you shall hear your game again.
Then you set up the input device in reaper to your virtual audio cable and you are pretty much ready to go. If you need your microphone to be recorded, then you must route the microphone to your virtual audio cable instance as shown before.
I hope you understood me.
