Ultimately the save file has to be named data.dat in order for it to load, but there's nothing stopping you from renaming it to something else and then renaming it back when you want to play it.
I wonder how effective it would be to have Sylphantom or something with the anxious ability and a kumori cloak and parafuse. That seems like quite a little bit for a mon to have to get past in order to hit you.
