Re: Pokemon TPP Aniversery, completely playable without sighted help

Update: I'm not saying this is better than Pokemon Crystal Access, but the stats of your Pokemon are actually readable with NVDA's OCR!
1: press enter to open the menu.
2: if you have the Pokedex, go down once then Press X. If not, press X without going down.
3: after doing either of these steps, select a Pokemon by going up and down through the list. If you only have one, just press X again. This will bring you to the main screen for that Pokemon.
4: from here, you can check stats and switch it with others in your party. Stats should be the first option, so press X to select stats.
5: if you did this right, you will hear the sound it makes when it enters battle. If you use Retroarches AI Service, you'll get the level and HP as well as the main stats. If you use NVDA's OCR, you'll just get the stats without level or HP.
I'd normally use the AI Service all the time, but it seems to crash Retroarch a lot.
To switch Pokemon, start from step 3 but instead of pressing X a third time to go to stats, go down once then press X to select switch.
Up or down through your Pokemon, then press X on the one you want first.
As an example, let's say you have a Bulbasaur, a Pidgey, a Nidoran, a Metapod and a Machop.
Bulbasaur is first in your party, and you want Metapod first.
Enter to open the menu, down once to the Pokemon option.
Press X, you're on the first Pokemon in your party (Bulbasaur in this example).
You go down 3 times, going through the Pokemon you have in this order.
Focused on Bulbasaur. Pidgey, Nidoran, Metapod.
You press X on Metapod, down once to switch, X, up twice to Bulbasaur, then X to switch it with Metapod.
Finally to wrap up this post, about the bag since many people say that's what makes these games inaccessible. The bag is actually very easy to use, if you use NVDA's OCR. It just requires memory.
The first pocket you land on when choosing bag is the last one you used, so I'd say it's easier than games like Heart Gold.
