working with chrome vox
Hello everyone.
So my school just gave me a chromebook for the schoolyear, despite the fact that I already have an iPad to do my work. And despite me not really liking chromebooks, or at least, not the ones at the school due to them being very laggy, I decided to accept it purely because I love playing around with different operating systems. However, I really am not a fan of the chromeOS speech synth. I just find it very much annoying. The thing is, I also see eSpeak as an option in the settings, however, the eSpeak is for like every language except for english. Does anyone know how to get the english eSpeak synth to work on the chromebook? I would really appreciate the help.
