Ubuntu Embraces Raspberry Pi Support
As reported by [arstechnica]:
The latest version of Ubuntu: Groovy Gorilla, has now added the Raspberry Pi as a "first class citizen" in term's of support. What this means is that they have dedicated a few teams to work with the Raspberry Pi foundation for more dedicated updates and features to support the Raspberry Pi moving forward. This support hinges on the user using the latest Raspberry Pi 4 with a minimum 4GB SD card, however. This support also means that the vast majority of their packages and repositories for Ubuntu are also compatible and available for the Raspberry Pi, save for a few architecture specific packages like those for i386, etc.
