Re: I missed death by a centimeter
Hi
Thanks. I really appreciate it. Still, though, I'm not sure if that's the right thing I did. I'm really not sure how long will I live. That day, no one would've thought we were about to die. After that, I am not sure if I'll live tomorrow. But I do know this, and I hope someone is able to find this useful:
I did learn, after facing death and almost falling into its arms, that life ain't no nintendo game. You get one life. But I also realized that barricading yourself in, trying to live for the longest time, is going to help no one. I realized that we're going to die, be it tomorrow or a hundred years later, and the best way to go about things is to, figuratively, "Look death in the eye", rather than be afraid of it, to fight it till the end, but you also have to accept defeat when death has won.
Again, this forum is probably not meant for this kind of a post, but while going through the forum, I realized that the one group who I could share this with is the AG forum community.
Again, thank you. Speaking about this is not easy, and forms a lump within my throat just thinking, what if, things hadn't worked out the way they did. However, it does feel way better just writing it all out here, and having other people's opinions to listen to, and so much valuable advice to gain.
