Re: Restricted/new users: introduce yourself!
Hello all,
My name is Kostadin Kolev and I'm from Bulgaria. I'm 35 years old.
My interests are mainly in the area of technology.
I'm partially sighted, so I can play (at least to a degree) some mainstream games. I've started in the early 90s by playing old games on my friend's 16-bit IBM-based computer (if I'm not mistaking about the type of the computer). Then we got a clone of the ATARI 2600 and a few years later - a clone of the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). Clones, mainly because back then in Bulgaria you couldn't buy original such game consoles, even if you wanted to (they were not imported). A few years later I got a PlayStation 1. A few years after that, I've started using a PC and playing games on it and it has been so since then.
I mostly like open-world mainstream games, mainly because they give you the option to just travel (walk, drive, fly, etc.) around and have some fun. My first such game was Driver 2 for the PlayStation 1. After I got my first PC I got introduced to GTA San Andreas and I liked it very much and played it for many years. GTA IV was too demanding for my PC at the time of its release and so I wasn't able to play it for a few years, until I got a better PC. A few years ago GTA V was released for the PC and I liked it very much, based on walkthrough videos about its story mode. But my PC at that time wasn't powerful enough to handle it properly, so I had to wait. I've upgraded my PC a year ago and when GTA V was free for a week in the EPIC Games Store in May this year, I acquired it and now I'm playing (or at least - trying to play) GTA Online.
Other games that I play are also mainstream, but are old ones. I'm playing through emulation (via RetroArch) games for the ATARI 2600, NES, SNES and PlayStation 1. But my main favorite game remains GTA V with its Online mode.
Well, I think that is my introduction, specially in terms of gaming.
