D-Day Beach for the Blind

D-Day Beach for the Blind is an audio only game. Your goal is to get to the other side of the beach, 200m away. To get there you will need to move from cover to cover,  which  can be heard by the pings.

How to play:  Your goal is to move towards the sound of gunfire. To get there you will have to move from cover to cover by listening to the directions the next sets of cover are in. You have the ability to 'focus' blocking out the sounds of battle. by right clicking while focusing you can toggle between the closest 4 covers, if you do not hear a sound when rotating though covers it is because one of the closest covers is well behind you so has been filtered in this build.

You will start in the lander. It is safe inside of it, however, once you leave it the only place you will be safe when you are in cover, or reach the grass at the other side of the beach. For now this is the win condition.

This beta is a test of the focus system and of the ability for players to orient themselves. Some sounds are place holders for this test. Any feedback regarding these topics is much appreciated.

Controls:

Move: W forward,  D backwards, A turn left, D turn right.

Focus: Hold Spacebar

Change Focus: Right Click while, Spacebar is held

Shoot: Left Click

Reload: R

This is an early build the cover sound will be changed, but is in place for testing. A better bullet hitting steel sound will replace it.
