I agree with Nidza07. Unauthorized forks do not arise because a product is open-source; they arise because people invite developers who should not be trusted onto their development team. In fact I'd say open-sourcing... Wait, I already mentioned that in this topic. Point being that if I make an open-source FPS and attach a license to it, and someone then creates an unauthorized fork and doesn't open-source that fork but the license requires them to do so, then they're violating the license and I can kick their ass for it. However... If they do make a fork of it and its open-source, that's not actually an unauthorized fork. That's just a fork, and anyone is legally permitted to fork other open-source projects. No open-source license would ever prohibit that.
