First, as for your problem on desktop: of all the teleporters that'll teleport you to various places you don't want, there is 1 that teleports you past the steel data. That teleporter is next to location 75. Take that teleporter and you're now past the steel data!
Second, my pictures: read the read me for that boss. He is actually on an aircraft thingy so you have to jump and hit him. You *don't* want to move as the field is basically an abis filled with platforms so if you move you'll get killed. If he flees from you, you'll have to jump from platform to platform, find him, and kill him.
Thirdly, as for users: he is basically reformating the hard drive. Make sure you stay at his right. I recommend using your lazer on this guy, because if you get too close to him he'll instantly kill you. Make sure, however, that you turn to the left (after walking/jumping a few squares right, walk 1 square left to turn, then shoot him). Whe
n you think he gets closer, jump away, then resume killing him. The sound you say is actually you falling into a nothingness pit and dying.
As for making custom maps, jump to the section called "creating custom stages" in the readme. However, to make and edit custom stages, you must have beaten the game. Hope it helps!
