Re: censoring words in audacity?

Hi, here is what i do:
1. import the track (in your case the interview audio file.)
2. move the cursor around, till you are at the point at where the person's name is spoken .

3. Use shift and the right arrow to select. Please note that you have to press shift+space to here selected audio, looped. This will ensure you have the whole name selected, because obviously you'll here it over and over.
4. generate a tone, using the selected audio.
5. save it and i think you'll be fine?
