Re: How to browse blips on the map

It's GTA V, but yeah, it would have for sure been helpful to put the game title in there. Please note that for future reference.

yes, you can browse them using up and down arrow keys, as well as the D-pad up and down on your controller. You can do this as soon as you press enter on the keyboard or A on the controller to enter the map. As you probably know, GTA's menus load their contents as soon as you switch tabs or scroll on the left part of the screen, but you won't be focused on the tab or the right part of the screen until you press enter or A to confirm.

Here's the problem. While you can certainly do this, and you'll hear audible indicators as you scroll, you cannot know which one is highlighted. Also, these blips are actually categories. What happens is you use up and down or D-pad up and down to select the category, then left and right arrow or left and right D-pad to select an entry in that category. Then space or A to place a waypoint marker.
