I would argue with you about your third recommendation. At the very first levels, your main task will be to find at least some equipment, no matter what quality. And later, when you move to a new tier, you will be able to meet new monsters that can drop equipment that is better than yours, again, regardless of the quality. Therefore, as long as your level is not too high, I would not recommend turning on auto dismantle, because you may come across the item of equipment that you need right now.
